After a spectacular regular season, Toronto's Ryan Miller has won the Vezina Trophy as RSHA's Most Outstanding Goalie. Miller earned 12 out of 16 first place votes after a 32-17-3 season in which he posted a 2.83 GAA and .893sv%. Ottawa's Jose Theodore was the runner-up for the second straight season, earning 2 first place votes along the way, while Montreal's Niklas Backstrom was a distant third in the vote, with the other 2 first place votes.

Miller becomes the third Jazz goaltender to claim the Vezina, and first since Martin Brodeur in 2000/01. Vladislav Tretiak also won the Vezina for the Jazz, way back in 1981/82.
